Visit to Uai Lili village in Timor Leste

Posted by Peter van Duyn in Articles, News, Projects 30 Apr 2017

Recently we were lucky enough to visit a carpentry program in a small village in Timor Leste which Espero Fund sponsored last year through the Australian Marist Solidarity Fund. It was heartening to see that many young men benefit from learning carpentry skills in a country where there is high youth unemployment and not many opportunities to learn these basic skills.

For more information visit the Australian Marist Solidarity website: http://www.australianmaristsolidarity.net.au/social-benefits-from-job-creation/ or see the YouTube clip.
